NoFlying-again devlog(0001)??


Once again, I greet everyone who reads this.

I will say it honestly as it is, without hiding anything, I have no idea why I am writing this. Because this is a new obstacle on my way.

Once I learned to draw, it was very useful for creating my game, but it was not enough. I had to learn many new things.

I learned how to write scripts, create exciting plots and weave characters into them, which I also had to learn how to invent.

I learned to work with program code in Python, I learned to work with the program ren'py. I learned how to combine all my skills.

And now it seems to be an important day, the prologue is finished, it is published on my Patreon. I understand that only one day has passed.

At least half a year has to pass to start talking about it. Still, there is one nuance that worries me.

I don't understand how marketing works. And this is certainly not something terrible, at least compared to what I have to learn.

And I will definitely learn this too, gradually making more and more mistakes. The main thing is that enough time has passed to gain experience.

I had Patreon from the very beginning, I understood that the audience would not appear from nowhere, that it had to be brought from other sources.

But for the audience to stay, at least some significant content is needed, and so I decided to finish the prologue first.

Considering that it is quite large, this is quite enough to interest a potential player:

8000+ lines of code, 64+ illustrations, 14 characters, 8 animations demonstrating 18+ contents. On average, this is enough for 30 minutes of pleasant time.

The next steps were to try to show my game to the world, so to speak, to publish it on different platforms.

After reading various tips about the vastness of reddit, I chose the sites "itch.io" and "f95zone.to", considering that my game is still: "adult", "nsfw", "18+".

Including reddit itself of course, but so far there have been big problems with this, somewhere the game is not published, somewhere the site itself is against me.

I repeat, I understand that only "a single day has passed since the release", this is just the beginning, just the very first significant step.

I hope this will change and become easier, I would like to at least get some feedback and spend more time on creating the first episode.
